Carmella was born in Baghdad, Iraq in 1950. Her grandmother taught her the energy healing of Babylon, learning to make home remedy to ease and heal sickness. 
Carmella immigrated to Australia 1981. She was a Hebrew Teacher in Mount Scopus College. In 1985 she established Carmella's Jewellery business. Carmella holds a Masters degree in Qigong (Chinese Exercise) from China in 2004.
