In Memory of Dr Jack Stiglitz OBM

Dr Jack Stiglitz fondly known as Papa Jack touched thousands of people's lives. He was one of those special people that had a positive influence on everyone who came across him, and asked for nothing in return. He selflessly gave of himself to his community, through his care, compassion, humility and outstanding knowledge of medicine. He was a true Tzadik.

Jack was born to be a healer. General Practice was supposed to be a summer job while he was studying cardiology, but he soon fell in love with General Practice and it equally fell in love with him. He practiced "old style" General Practice which was 7 days a week, all hours of the day or night, including home calls, hospital visits and many hours spent in the surgery. He volunteered for Hatzolah, a cause close to his heart and he supported them from their infancy 25 years ago.
