Please join us for a special Shavuot Packing Bee on Wednesday 13th of May, from 7–8pm, as we come together to pack Shabbat parcels for our cherished seniors. Location: 347 Alma Rd, Caulfield North
Volunteers of all ages are warmly welcome — children, teens, adults and seniors all play a special part in this meaningful initiative. Together, we’ll prepare Shabbat and Jewish festival packages for more than 270 Jewish seniors living in non-Jewish aged care facilities.
For many of these seniors, these packages are their only connection to Shabbat and their Jewish heritage. Receiving fresh challah, treats and a thoughtful package reminds them that they are remembered, valued and cared for — like a warm hug delivered straight to their door.
