Position: VET Business Trainer
Time Fraction: Part time
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Location: Girls' Campus, Elsternwick

Adass Israel School is seeking a VET trainer to teach BSB30415 Certificate III in Business Administration and BSB30120 Certificate III in Business.

School Ethos: Adass Israel School is an Orthodox Jewish Day School. Teachers and Trainers are required to respect and support the ethos of the School, in particular staff must adhere to the Dress Code and to the limitations on educational resource materials.

Duties include but are not limited to:
· Teaching/training
· Monitoring assessment and reporting of students' progress
· Preparing and maintaining appropriate documentation pertaining to the delivery and assessment of the above
· Participating in quality assurance programs as required
· Maintaining a duty of care in the classroom (this includes discipline, students' safety, well-being and protection and OH&S)
· Customising existing assessment tools (where required)
· Other duties as required

Qualifications/Skills Required:
· TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
· BSB VET qualification at level III or higher or tertiary business qualification
· Experience teaching/training and
· Well-developed organisational skills
· English language skill appropriate to teaching Secondary students
· Interpersonal skills appropriate to teaching Secondary students
· A commitment to child safety, well-being and protection
The following will be highly valued:
· Experience training in a school environment
· Industry experience
