Major General (Res.) Doron Almog is the former commander of the IDF's Southern Command and led a force of officers and soldiers from the company in Operation Entebbe , was the first soldier to land on the runway at Entebbe. During his rich military career he commended Paratroopers Brigade, Shaldag Unit, Infantry Corps, Gaza Division and more. Was awarded Israel Prize for Lifetime Achievement & Special Contribution to Society and the State in 2016. He will tell the story of how his son Eran, who was born with brain damage, became the greatest teacher of his life!
