About us
We are looking for an amazing Diploma qualified Lead Educator to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.
We are a standout, not-for-profit fun and vibrant centre located in the heart of Malvern. We are family orientated and place significant emphasis on providing quality care and education to our children, and a positive and supportive staff culture and environment for both our children and staff.
We are an 80-place centre and have 5 classrooms catering to children aged 0-5 years old.
About you
Seeks to develop strong relationships with families, children, colleagues and the community in an inclusive manner
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Current Victorian Working with Children Check or VIT
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate
Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and planning cycle
Previous experience working in an early childhood education setting, however new graduates or those who are still studying are most welcome to apply

Child Protection
We are committed to protecting children and young people from harm. We require all applicants who are to work with children and young people to undergo an extensive screening process prior to appointment. It is also a requirement that employees complete child protection training upon commencement of employment.
Vaccination Statement:
It is a requirement of all staff members of Chabad Malvern ELC to be fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine. Alternatively, staff members must have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by 26th October 2021 and their second dose by 29th November 2021 unless they have a valid medical exemption. Proof of vaccination status or an original certified copy of a valid medical exemption will be required as part of the employment process.
